Karnataka has launched a INR 1,000 Cr Quantum Mission, aiming to be the “Quantum Capital of Asia” by 2035. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced a Quantum Technology Task Force, quantum parks, manufacturing zones, and a Q-City to drive innovation. The plan includes quantum skilling programs in 20 colleges, 150 PhD fellowships, and India’s first Quantum Hardware Park. A Quantum Venture Capital Fund will support 100+ startups, targeting 100 patents and two lakh jobs. This aligns with the national National Quantum Mission (NQM), which has funded startups like QNu Labs (INR 60 Cr) and QpiAI ($32 Mn).
