Amazon India and the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) are joining forces through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership is designed to significantly enhance e-commerce export opportunities for India’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). A central component of the agreement involves the creation of a joint e-commerce export task force. This task force will be responsible for developing a strategic policy and infrastructure roadmap specifically tailored to support MSME exporters in navigating the complexities of international online trade. The collaboration extends beyond policy, encompassing practical initiatives such as awareness sessions and capacity-building workshops. These programs aim to equip sellers across India with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the global digital marketplace. According to Srinidhi Kalvapudi, Head of Amazon Global Selling India, “This partnership aligns with Amazon’s broader goal of enabling $80 billion in cumulative ecommerce exports from India by 2030.
