Repello secures $1.2M seed funding to fortify generative AI security

Repello AI, a rising company in the field of AI security with dual headquarters in San Francisco and Bengaluru, has raised $1.2 million in seed funding to advance its mission of safeguarding generative AI systems from modern cyber threats.

The round was led by Venture Highway along with notable investors pi Ventures,Entrepreneur First, and a cadre of influential angel investors. These include Charles Songhurst (Board Member, Meta), Vivek Raghavan (CEO, Sarvam.ai), and Satya Vyas (CEO, Project Hero). Founded in 2024 by IIT Roorkee graduates Aryaman Behera and Naman Mishra, Repello AI is solving one of the most urgent challenges in modern tech: securing AI applications against threats like prompt injection, data poisoning, sensitive information leaks, and other vulnerabilities that could cause operational and reputational damage.

Repello’s platform focuses on deep cybersecurity principles and advanced machine learning to not just detect but actively shield generative AI systems. It enables safer AI deployments, eases compliance burdens, and translates complex risks into clear, actionable fixes. With the new capital infusion, Repello AI plans to boost its product development, broaden its red teaming and threat intelligence modules, and build stronger go-to-market channels. The startup is also actively seeking strategic partnerships and integrations to further embed its security-first approach across the growing AI ecosystem.
