Bengaluru- and San Mateo-based enterprise AI startup Refold AI has raised $6.5 million in a seed funding round co-led by Eniac Ventures and Tidal Ventures. The funding will be used to expand the engineering team, enhance product integrations, and support the startup’s growing enterprise customer base. Founded in 2023 by Jugal Anchalia and Abhishek Kumar, Refold AI builds an AI-driven platform to automate API integrations, aiming to replace traditional middleware and manual coding. Its AI agents can learn system behavior, write and maintain integration code, and adapt to changes in software environments. The company originated from the founders’ previous venture, JustDoc, which was acquired by Netmeds in 2018. Refold AI targets the massive $350 billion enterprises spend annually on manual integrations and consulting.
Refold AI’s platform is already being used to manage workflows such as ERP-to-CRM syncing, finance automation, and supply chain operations. By automating complex system integrations, the startup promises to reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate digital transformation for enterprise clients.
