Interior design startup Bonito Designs is raising ₹81 crore from its holding company Tomorrow Capital, marking its first funding move in two years. The Bengaluru-based company, known for its end-to-end personalized home interiors, previously secured ₹40 crore in June 2023 from HDFC, Tomorrow Capital, and Lodha Ventures. This fresh round signals continued investor confidence despite a slight dip in
valuation.
As per regulatory filings accessed from the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Bonito’s board passed a special resolution in May to issue 28,357 Class A equity shares at ₹28,564 each to Tomorrow Capital. Of the ₹81 crore, ₹51 crore has already been received, with the remaining amount expected soon. Post-allotment, Bonito Designs will be valued at around ₹531 crore ($62.5 million), reflecting an 18% decrease from its previous ₹650 crore valuation.
The company was started to bring designer-quality interiors to Indian homes at accessible prices, Bonito Designs has carved a strong niche with its tech-enabled solutions, in-house designers, and project execution teams delivering thousands of customized spaces across cities.
