Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), the FMCG subsidiary of Reliance Industries, is establishing its first integrated food park at Brahmanapalli village in Orvakal, Kurnool district, Andhra Pradesh, with an investment of ₹768 crore.

Project Overview
RCPL’s food park forms part of a broader ₹40,000 crore national rollout plan for integrated food parks over the next three years. The Andhra Pradesh unit is strategically located about three hours from Hyderabad and five hours by road from Bengaluru airport. The State Investment Promotion Committee allotted 120 acres for this facility, adjacent to a planned RCPL beverages plant with an additional 80 acres.

Facility and Production
The food park will consist of manufacturing units for:
Chocolates and confectionery, Snacks, Noodles and pasta, Atta (wheat flour), Rice, Spices

Production will proceed in two phases with capacity targets including:
Phase 1: 23,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of spices, 3,800 TPA of snacks, 14,400 TPA of noodles/pasta
Phase 2: 32,900 TPA of confectionery/chocolates, 36,500 TPA of rice, 120,000 TPA of atta

Economic Impact
The project is expected to create direct employment for 500 people and indirect economic opportunities in the region. RCPL aims for these food parks to help reach ₹1 lakh crore in annual revenue and to position itself as India’s largest consumer goods firm within five years.

Approvals and Timeline
The Andhra Pradesh State Investment Promotion Committee has cleared the land allotment and the cabinet approval is expected within weeks. The beverage manufacturing facility nearby, which is a separate ₹1,622 crore project, is scheduled for trial production by June 2026.

Strategic Significance
This investment signals a major step in scalable, integrated food manufacturing for both Andhra Pradesh and Reliance’s FMCG ambitions. It strengthens the industrial and employment base of the region and furthers the company’s plans for pan-India food park expansion.
