Microsoft Azure suffered a global outage from October 29–30, 2025, caused by a DNS failure in its Azure Front Door service. The issue disrupted Azure SQL, App Service, Databricks, and Microsoft 365 apps like Teams and Outlook. A faulty configuration bypassing safety checks triggered the failure, later fixed by rolling back to a stable version.
