Khari Foods Raises ₹3 Crore Seed Round to Expand Clean-Label Snacking Across India

Led by Meri Punji Pvt. Ltd., the funding will support R&D, product innovation, team growth, and deeper distribution in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.

Khari Foods, the clean-label snacking brand owned by Grahill Wellness Pvt. Ltd., has announced the successful closure of its ₹3 crore Seed funding round, led by Meri Punji Pvt. Ltd.

The capital is expected to be deployed strategically across key verticals—research and development, product innovation, internal team expansion, and nationwide distribution and marketing. The funding is also seen as a validation of the brand’s sustainable growth and product-first approach, which has resonated with a rising segment of urban and semi-urban consumers aged 20 to 40.

Strong Growth Trajectory

Khari Foods is currently on track to achieve an Annual Revenue Run Rate (ARR) growth of 208% for the ongoing financial year. Despite being bootstrapped since inception, the company has maintained a profitable and scalable business model. This latest funding round marks a turning point as the company prepares for aggressive market expansion.

“From day one, our focus has been on building a brand that delivers nutritious, flavourful snacks made for Indian tastes, without cutting corners,” said Yash, Co-Founder and CEO. “This ₹3 crore fundraise marks a pivotal moment—helping us scale faster, build stronger distribution, and bring exciting, clean-label products to more Indian homes.”

Product Line & Market Edge

Founded in 2022 by Yash (Co-Founder & CEO) and Sunil Bansal (Co-Founder & COO), Khari Foods offers a diverse range of nutritious, palm oil-free, maida-free snacks enriched with fibre and essential micronutrients. Its product lineup includes Ragi Crispies, Beetroot Crispies, Oats Crispies, Jowar Puffs, Snack Mixes, Dried Berries and Snack Bars

All products are manufactured at the company’s state-of-the-art facility in Haryana, with full control over the supply chain. This enables consistent quality, innovation in formulation, and quick go-to-market turnarounds.

Investor Confidence

A spokesperson from Meri Punji Pvt. Ltd. expressed confidence in the team’s vision and market potential:

“We’re excited to back a brand that has shown strong fundamentals and organic growth. Khari Foods’ consumer-first mindset and commitment to product integrity make it uniquely positioned to lead the clean snacking revolution in India.”

Next Phase of Expansion

The funds will be instrumental in enhancing R&D infrastructure, launching new product categories tailored to evolving health trends, and deepening the brand’s digital and offline presence across India.

Khari Foods is also working to grow its internal team to support scaling operations and ensure the brand maintains its high product standards and ethical sourcing as it expands.
