Andhra Pradesh-based value retail startup SuperK has raised ₹100 crore in a Series B round. The funding was co-led by Binny Bansal’s 3STATE Ventures and CaratLane founder Mithun Sacheti, with support from cricketer Shubman Gill and existing investors Blume Ventures and Xeed Ventures.

Founded in 2020 by Anil Thontepu and Anil Neeraj Menta, both alumni of BITS Pilani, SuperK runs over 130 franchise-led grocery stores in more than 80 small towns, mainly in Andhra Pradesh. The company calls itself the “Costco for small-town India,” offering affordable essentials through its own tech-driven supply chain and retail operating system. The fresh funds will be used to strengthen the core team and expand into new markets across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. “This funding will help us scale to 300 more towns and continue building India’s most efficient, value-first retail chain for small-town families,” said co-founder Anil. SuperK is making organized retail accessible and affordable for India’s smaller towns, one store at a time.
