Lenovo has announced the rollout of its Qira personal AI across more than 20 devices at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, marking its broadest integration of artificial intelligence across its product lineup.
First introduced at CES 2026, Lenovo Qira functions as a cross-device “Personal Ambient Intelligence” layer rather than a standalone app. The platform is designed to maintain continuity across PCs, tablets, smartphones, and wearables, learning user habits and workflows to deliver context-aware assistance seamlessly across devices.
The initial rollout will include the company’s Yoga, IdeaPad, Legion, and ThinkPad series through over-the-air updates and preloaded software. The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, a 13-inch Android tablet powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, will be the first Lenovo tablet to ship with Qira built in. It is expected to launch in July at a starting price of $419.
Qira will support six languages English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, and Portuguese across nine regions, including the U.S., U.K., India, Latin America, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, and Brazil. Lenovo plans to expand the ecosystem later this year by bringing Qira to Motorola smartphones and adding more language options.
“The AI era will not be defined by a single device or application, but by intelligent systems that work seamlessly across everything we use,” said Luca Rossi, president of Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group, in the company’s announcement.
Built around presence, action, and perception, Qira aims to deliver personalized and consistent user experiences. It supports multiple AI models and operates offline for certain tasks. Lenovo also indicated that the platform could eventually extend beyond its own hardware ecosystem.
