Bengaluru-based startup ShopOS has raised $20 million in funding to take its AI-powered e-commerce platform to the next level. The round was led by 3STATE Ventures, the investment firm set up by Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart.

What does ShopOS do?
In simple terms, it’s building a powerful system that helps brands easily set up and run their online stores. But it’s not just another website builder it uses AI to
do the heavy lifting. From writing product descriptions to creating images and videos, even changing the website layout for each visitor and running smart marketing campaign ShopOS handles it all, automatically.

Sai Krishna V K and Ajay P V, the founders, had earlier built a tech startup called Scapic, which was acquired by Flipkart in 2020. After that, they worked on deep tech and AI projects at Flipkart Labs. They’ve now teamed up with Karan Sonawala, who also worked on AI and
immersive tech at Flipkart.

With this new funding, ShopOS plans to hire more engineers, grow its product capabilities, and bring more global brands onto the platform starting with markets like India, the UAE, and parts of Europe.

According to Binny Bansal, platforms like ShopOS are the future of global commerce. They simplify complex workflows and give brands everything they need from content, design, and marketing in one AI-driven toolkit.
