Pune-based gaming company SuperGaming has raised $15 million in a Series B round led by existing investors Skycatcher and Steadview Capital. The round also saw participation from a16z’s Speedrun, Bandai Namco’s 021 Fund, Polygon Ventures, Neowiz, GFR Fund, IVC Japan, Loud.GG, and angel investors including Polygon cofounder Sandeep Nailwal. With this funding, SuperGaming claims to have crossed the $100 million valuation mark. The capital will be used to launch its battle royale game Indus internationally, starting with Latin America in partnership with Brazilian esports organisation Loud.GG. The company also plans to scale its game development and publishing infrastructure. Founded in 2017 by Navneet Waraich, Sanket Nadhani, Avinash Pandey, Sreejit Jayanthan, and Roby John, SuperGaming has developed popular mobile games like MaskGun, Tower Conquest, and Silly Royale, amassing over 200 million installs globally. It also operates SuperPlatform, a real-time multiplayer platform powering its own titles and third-party games.
