Semiconductor startup Netrasemi has raised ₹107 crore ($12.5 million) in its Series A round, led by Zoho Corporation, with participation from Unicorn India Ventures and Maithan Alloys. This marks the company’s second fundraise in less than a year, following a ₹10 crore preSeries A round in December 2024. As per RoC filings, the board allotted 15,063 Series A CCPS at ₹71,000 each to raise the funds. Zoho spearheaded the round with a ₹87 crore ($10.2M) investment, while Unicorn India Ventures contributed ₹16.5 crore ($1.94M) and Maithan Alloys ₹3.45 crore. The fresh round values Netrasemi at ₹630 crore ($74M) which is a 6.6X jump from its ₹95 crore ($11M) valuation during the pre-Series A round. Founded in 2020, Netrasemi develops energy-efficient system-on-chips (SoCs) for smart IoT devices, designed to handle workloads such as video processing. Its chips integrate an inhouse AI acceleration core (NPU) and silicon IPs, enabling advanced analytics on-device without relying on cloud or servers.
