Jio Payments Bank Limited (JPBL), a digital-first payments bank under Jio Financial Services, has won a contract to implement the FASTag ANPR-based Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) toll system at Shahjahanpur and Manoharpura toll plazas on the Gurugram–Jaipur stretch.
The MLFF system allows vehicles to pass through tolls without slowing down or stopping, using a mix of RFID, ANPR, DSRC, and satellite technologies to ensure seamless, contactless toll collection and reduce congestion.
This project, part of the Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) pilot, strengthens JPBL’s role in India’s digital payments and highway infrastructure landscape. Already managing 11 toll plazas, JPBL plans to leverage Jio Platforms’ technology to enhance operations and drive smoother highway experiences.
