Andhra Pradesh has secured a record ₹13.25 lakh crore in Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) across 12 key sectors, promising the creation of over 16 lakh jobs, at the CII Partnership Summit 2025 held in Visakhapatnam, . The summit attracted close to 5,000 industrialists, including 640 international delegates, who signed 613 MoUs surpassing initial expectations by over 30%. Major investments are led by Reliance Industries, Brookfield, and ReNew, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy, data centers, and technology infrastructure.
Renewable energy dominated the investment landscape, accounting for ₹5.33 lakh crore. The government secured commitments for projects like a 1-gigawatt AI data center by Reliance, coupled with a 6 GWp solar power project, and Brookfield’s planned $12 billion investments, including a 3 GW clean energy data center. Other sectors attracting significant investment include industry, infrastructure, IT, electronics, food processing, textiles, and tourism.
The summit also showcased ambitious initiatives in high-tech areas such as the Amaravati Quantum Valley, which is being positioned as a global hub for quantum applications and hardware testing. Additionally, the government laid the foundation for India’s first twin Space Cities in Sri Satya Sai and Tirupati districts to foster space technology startups and manufacturing.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu set a vision for a $1 trillion investment over the next decade, with plans to create one crore jobs and nurture entrepreneurial culture statewide. The state is committed to fast-tracking project clearances and grounding these MoUs into tangible economic growth, making Andhra Pradesh a magnet for global investment and innovation. This summit marks a pivotal moment in the state’s economic trajectory post-2019 challenges.
