Prabhjeet Singh has resigned as Uber India President after nearly 11 years and has been appointed OpenAI’s Managing Director for India. He will join the company in September. During his tenure, Singh expanded Uber’s services and strengthened public transport partnerships. His exit comes shortly after Uber announced its first India data centre and increased investments amid rising competition from Rapido.
