Bharti Airtel’s enterprise arm, Airtel Business, has launched Airtel Secure Workforce, positioning it as India’s first fully managed and unified Zero Trust Architecture cybersecurity platform designed for enterprises with hybrid workforces.
The platform integrates secure connectivity, managed cybersecurity services, and 24/7 monitoring to protect users, devices, applications, networks, and data from sophisticated AI-driven cyberattacks. It replaces fragmented multi-vendor security setups with a single stack that strengthens endpoint detection, response, and remote access security while supporting compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Airtel claims the solution can deliver up to 30% optimization in security spending by reducing operational burdens and alert fatigue for enterprises facing talent shortages and regulatory pressures. To support rollout, the company has established a dedicated Airtel Secure Workforce Centre of Excellence, allowing customers to test and deploy the platform.
This marks Airtel’s latest expansion in enterprise cybersecurity. In October 2024, it partnered with Zscaler to introduce Airtel Secure Digital Internet, a Zero Trust solution combining Airtel’s leased-line connectivity with Zscaler’s cloud security and Security Service Edge technology. The collaboration deepened in February 2026 with the launch of the AI & Cyber Threat Research Center – India, focusing on AI-powered threats to sectors like banking, energy, and telecom.
The move comes amid rising cyber incidents, with over 2 million reported in India in 2025 alone, as organizations grapple with legacy perimeter defenses like firewalls and VPNs that fail in hybrid environments. Airtel executives emphasized the platform’s “trust no one automatically” model to enhance resilience without diverting focus from business growth.
