Google on Wednesday announced the global rollout of its redesigned, AI-powered Google Finance platform, extending availability to more than 100 countries in the largest expansion since the service’s overhaul last year.
The international rollout introduces full local language support in major markets including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Japan, and Mexico. Users in these regions will now gain access to the same suite of AI-driven financial tools that have been available to U.S. investors since August 2025 and to Indian users since November 2025.
Central to the upgrade is an AI search function capable of answering complex financial questions, offering detailed and cited responses that aggregate data across global markets. The system uses Google’s Gemini-powered Deep Search to synthesize hundreds of simultaneous queries, giving investors a full picture of stock performance, market trends, and sector insights.
The platform now includes advanced charting tools with real-time market data for equities, commodities, and cryptocurrencies, alongside professional-grade visuals such as candlestick charts and moving averages. A live news feed delivers updates from verified sources, while an earnings call feature provides synchronized audio streams with AI-generated insights before, during, and after each event.
The rollout concludes a gradual global expansion that began with testing in the United States in August 2025 under Google Search Labs, followed by India later that year. Rose Yao, Google vice president overseeing Search and Finance products, confirmed the broader release and said availability will continue to expand over the coming weeks.
