HCLTech Bets ₹14,257 Crore on Odisha for First Sovereign AI Data Centre

HCLTech will establish its first AI data centre in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, with a planned outlay of ₹14,257 crore, supported by the Odisha government and in partnership with Sarvam AI. The facility will anchor the upcoming Odisha Sovereign AI Park, designed for AI‑optimised infrastructure. Sarvam contributes Indian foundation models, while HCLTech brings enterprise AI expertise. The broader plan includes ~₹15,000 crore investments and a 5,000‑seat Global Delivery Centre by 2028, positioning Odisha as a hub for sovereign AI and digital services.
