Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has ordered IRCTC to launch a fully revamped website by July 15, 2026, after an MNIT Jaipur student highlighted booking issues such as slow speeds, CAPTCHA failures and Tatkal-time crashes. Issuing a 30-day deadline, he directed officials to improve capacity and user experience. The announcement came during his campus visit, where new quantum, AI and semiconductor training initiatives were also unveiled.
