Temple, founded by Zomato’s Deepinder Goyal, has unveiled Entropy, a new biomarker measuring the body’s real‑time metabolic cost. Readable only from the temple region, Entropy updates every second on a 1–250 index, with 1 = deep rest and 250 = peak athlete output. Temple claims Entropy correlates more strongly with metabolism (r=0.93) than heart rate (r=0.55). Experts remain skeptical, noting the device lacks scientific validation and is not yet commercially available.
