Mahindra & Mahindra has outlined a product roadmap that calls for 26 new vehicle launches by 2031, while chairman Anand Mahindra urged the group to move into “attack mode” as it navigates global uncertainty. The plan marks a more aggressive posture for the automaker as it expands its product and manufacturing pipeline
According to the company’s annual report and related disclosures, the roadmap includes 16 SUVs and 10 light commercial vehicles. Mahindra has also said it plans to invest ₹9,112 crore in FY26 and is preparing a ₹15,000-crore greenfield manufacturing facility in Nagpur to support future growth.
The company’s growth strategy comes as it looks to deepen its position in the SUV market and broaden its electric vehicle lineup. Public disclosures and reports indicate the roadmap is tied to the NU_IQ platform and a wider manufacturing expansion plan.
Anand Mahindra described the shift as a move from caution to acceleration, arguing that the group should continue investing even amid geopolitical, supply-chain and technology uncertainty. The framing reflects a broader push across the conglomerate to prioritize execution and market share growth.
The announcement adds to a series of recent product and capacity updates from Mahindra, which has been building out its auto strategy for the rest of the decade. The company’s latest roadmap signals that it intends to keep pace with rising demand while expanding its footprint across vehicle categories.
