Adani Group and Abu Dhabi-based IHC have signed an MoU with the Odisha government to invest ₹1.08 lakh crore (US$11.5 billion) in an integrated aluminium project. The 50:50 joint venture will include an alumina refinery, aluminium smelter, captive power plant, and downstream facilities. The project is expected to create 53,500 jobs and strengthen India’s domestic aluminium manufacturing ecosystem.
