Bengaluru-based Even Healthcare has raised $20 million from existing investors Lachy Groom, Alpha Wave and Sharrp Ventures, taking its total funding to $70 million and more than doubling its valuation in under a year. The capital will fund expansion of its managed-care hospital network after its first hospital reached operating break-even in under six months and reported zero unplanned 30-day readmissions, no post-operative infections, over 200 avoided hospitalisations, shorter stays and 92 percent online revenue retention.
