Amazon Web Services has broken ground on a new data centre in Hyderabad’s Bharat Future City, with Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy attending the groundbreaking. The project forms part of Amazon’s $48 billion India investment, including $21 billion for cloud and AI infrastructure through 2030. AWS said it has invested over $1.3 billion in Hyderabad, while the expansion strengthens Telangana’s position as a growing cloud infrastructure hub.
