Cosmoserve Space’s soft robotic capture experiment failed to deploy during Skyroot Aerospace’s Vikram-1 mission, as its robotic petals did not open in orbit. Despite the setback, the startup said the mission provided valuable space environment data. Vikram-1 successfully reached a 450-km orbit, making Skyroot the first Indian private company to achieve orbital launch.
