Moonshot AI has temporarily halted new Kimi K3 subscriptions after overwhelming demand exhausted GPU capacity. Launched on July 16, the 2.8-trillion-parameter open-weight model features a one-million-token context window and ranks among the highest-performing AI systems on independent benchmarks. Existing users retain access, while enterprise and API services continue. Full model weights are scheduled for release on July 27 under an open framework.
