Tencent Cloud launched its WorkBuddy AI agent alongside two new enterprise tools for international markets at the inaugural Tencent Cloud Day Hong Kong on May 28, marking a significant expansion of its artificial intelligence offerings beyond China.
The productivity agent WorkBuddy, Tencent Design Miora creative studio, and TokenHub Model-as-a-Service platform are now globally available to help enterprises accelerate AI adoption across different layers of their workflows. WorkBuddy operates as a desktop AI agent that executes complex office tasks locally on machines, running multiple tasks and agents in parallel while supporting control remotely from messaging apps including Discord, Slack, and Telegram.
The tool ships with more than 20 skill packages covering invoice processing, report generation, data analysis, and content drafting, and is compatible with the open-source OpenClaw agent framework. WorkBuddy was first introduced in internal testing in February before its public launch in China in March.
Tencent Design Miora features persistent memory to help design teams maintain visual consistency across brands and campaigns, orchestrating multiple skills to deliver production-ready asset packs spanning graphics, video, 3D elements, and user interfaces from a single natural language brief. The platform compresses production cycles from weeks into hours.
TokenHub provides developers and enterprises with API access through a single gateway covering Tencent’s Hy models and leading third-party models, enabling centrally managed access and flexible token allocation to optimize performance and cost.
Dowson Tong, Senior Executive Vice President of Tencent and CEO of the Cloud and Smart Industries Group, said business leaders are now asking how to deploy AI agents with clear business objectives using the right models on efficient infrastructure. The summit convened under the theme AI in Action brought together enterprise leaders and developers to explore how artificial intelligence is moving from promise to practice in real-world business environments.
To support these capabilities, Tencent Cloud made its infrastructure agent-ready with more than 100 product command-line interfaces now Skill-activated, allowing AI agents to query, deploy, and manage cloud resources through natural language. The company expanded its global footprint to 66 availability zones across 23 regions with new zones in Frankfurt and Osaka in the first half of 2026.
These new offerings join Tencent Cloud’s portfolio of more than 400 solutions for overseas markets. The company has also announced cloud events in Japan and Paris for 2026, including VivaTech 2026 in Paris from June 17 to 20.
