India has set a $1 trillion export target for FY27, aiming for merchandise exports of about $530 billion and services exports of $470 billion, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said. FY26 exports totaled $860B (goods: $441.78B, services: $421B). He urged wider use of free trade agreements, Export Promotion Missions and lower testing costs to boost outbound trade and strengthen domestic resilience.
