OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Work, an AI productivity agent that autonomously completes tasks across enterprise apps, documents and workflows, marking its push to make ChatGPT a workplace automation platform. Powered by GPT-5.6, it can generate documents, spreadsheets and apps over extended sessions. The company also unveiled a redesigned desktop app unifying Chat, Work and Codex, with rollout beginning for Pro, Enterprise and Edu users.
