The Indian government has approved the joint venture between Dixon Technologies and Vivo Mobile India under Press Note 3, allowing the companies to expand smartphone manufacturing in India. Dixon will hold a 51% stake, while Vivo will own 49%. The venture will produce Vivo smartphones and devices for other brands, with production expected to begin in the December quarter. The partnership is expected to significantly boost Dixon’s manufacturing capacity and revenue.
