MS Dhoni has invested in rooftop solar firm SolarSquare via his family office Midas Deals, joining as both investor and brand ambassador in its $53M Series C round. Founded in 2015 by Neeraj Jain, Shreya Mishra, and Nikhil Nahar, SolarSquare already serves 50,000+ homes across 29 cities, with end‑to‑end solar solutions. Dhoni called the move “investing in India’s future,” citing energy security and clean energy. With fresh capital, SolarSquare plans expansion into 30–40 new cities and stronger tech and service platforms.
