Paytm has received a payment institution licence from Luxembourg’s financial regulator for its subsidiary, Paytm Europe Payments S.A., allowing it to offer payment services across Europe. The approval follows a €9 million investment in the business and supports the company’s international expansion plans. Paytm Europe is fully owned by Paytm Cloud Technologies. The company said the licence will enable the subsidiary to provide a range of payment services in the European market. Paytm also reported its first full year of profitability in FY26.
