India is set to remain the world’s fastest-growing major economy for decades, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal told global investors at the Citi India Conference 2026. He highlighted rising international confidence, expanding trade agreements, regulatory reforms, large-scale infrastructure spending, and investments in manufacturing, semiconductors, and renewable energy. Emphasising India’s scale, stability, and innovation ecosystem, Goyal said the country is increasingly attracting global capital, technology, and long-term business commitments.
