Anthropic and Infosys have entered a strategic collaboration to develop and deploy enterprise artificial intelligence solutions for complex, regulated industries. The agreement combines Anthropic’s Claude family of models with Infosys’s platforms and sector expertise to build so-called agentic AI systems tailored to large organizations.
Infosys plans to integrate Anthropic’s models, including Claude and Claude Code, into its Infosys Topaz AI suite. The company aims to use these capabilities to create AI agents that can manage multi-step workflows across operations, software development, and other functions that demand higher levels of autonomy than traditional chat interfaces.
The collaboration will initially focus on the telecommunications sector, where the companies intend to design and deploy AI agents for areas such as network operations and customer lifecycle management. Infosys is setting up a dedicated unit to work with Anthropic on applying Claude to these use cases, with the intention of extending the approach to financial services, manufacturing, and broader software engineering over time.
Infosys is also adopting Anthropic’s technology internally, using Claude Code within its engineering teams to support software development and codify best practices for client projects. This internal use is positioned as a way to refine implementation patterns before they are rolled out at scale for customers.
