India’s Unified Payments Interface has officially launched in Greece through a collaboration with Eurobank and NPCI International, enabling UPI-based cross-border digital payments and personal remittances. The service targets Indian tourists, students, residents, and Greek businesses, supports everyday retail and fund transfers, and advances India’s goal of positioning UPI as global payments infrastructure.
