The aerospace startup co-founded by Deepinder Goyal has taken a major leap forward, moving into a 50,000 sq. ft. research and development (R&D) facility in Gurugram and setting up in-house laboratories to build advanced airplane components such as powertrains and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems.

This expansion marks a significant milestone not just for the company, but for India’s emerging private aerospace ecosystem. For decades, aircraft innovation and manufacturing were domains reserved for defence PSUs and global giants. Now, ventures like this are redefining the boundaries by building indigenous, cost-efficient, and short takeoff and landing (STOL) aircraft designed for regional connectivity.

The move into a dedicated R&D facility shows a clear shift from concept to execution. Developing components like hybrid-electric systems, Monte Carlo simulators, and lightweight physics models in-house indicates long-term intent to own the core technology stack rather than depend on foreign suppliers.

As India prepares for its next wave of regional air mobility, this investment in deep engineering and infrastructure impact positively and shows the future of aviation is developing.
