The Centre has reportedly asked Sarvam AI and BharatGen to develop cybersecurity AI models similar to Anthropic’s Mythos to strengthen India’s cyber defences and reduce reliance on foreign AI. The models would be hosted on government infrastructure to protect critical systems. The initiative aligns with India’s sovereign AI strategy as CERT-In tests multiple AI models amid rising cyberattacks and faster exploitation of software vulnerabilities.
