MeitY said investigations found no evidence of critical data loss in the recent Tata Electronics cyberattack. Tata, a supplier to Apple and Tesla, confirmed the June 22 incident but said operations were unaffected. The ransomware group World Leaks claimed to leak 200,000 files (630 GB), including specifications and communications. MeitY noted affected parties are “satisfied” no vital data was lost, though the breach renewed scrutiny of electronics supply‑chain cybersecurity.
