India and New Zealand have elevated ties to a strategic partnership, aiming to double annual trade to ₹35,000 crore (NZ$7B) by 2030. During PM Narendra Modi’s Auckland visit, leaders announced 18 outcomes, including 10 agreements spanning defence, maritime security, trade, supply chains, and regional engagement. Key measures include a Maritime Security Dialogue, reciprocal naval logistics support, and expanded cooperation in education, science, technology, agriculture, climate, and digital innovation, under the Roadmap to 2030.
