Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani used the company’s 2026 annual general meeting to lay out a broad expansion plan spanning power, nuclear energy, data centres, airports, ports and defence manufacturing. The company framed the roadmap around infrastructure and “intelligence” as the next two growth engines, according to remarks reported from the meeting.
Adani Power is implementing what the group described as India’s largest private-sector power capital expenditure programme, worth more than ₹2 lakh crore. The plan targets 45 GW of generation capacity over the next five years, while the group also said it is entering nuclear energy through Adani Atomic Energy and aims to build 10 GW of nuclear capacity by 2035.
The conglomerate also pointed to digital infrastructure as a major focus. It said its data centre business is targeting a 3 GW platform by 2030, including a gigawatt-scale project in Visakhapatnam with Google. In aviation, Gautam Adani highlighted the launch of Navi Mumbai International Airport and the new integrated terminal at Guwahati Airport.
Across logistics, Adani Ports said it handled more than 500 million tonnes of cargo in FY26 and is targeting 1 billion tonnes by 2030. The group also said it invested more than ₹1.5 lakh crore in infrastructure during FY26 and described that as more than 30% of India’s private-sector capex in the period.
Adani also outlined internal priorities, saying the group will simplify management structures, strengthen contractor partnerships and improve worker welfare. The AGM remarks came as shares of several Adani group companies rose following the announcements.
